This policy explains what personal information Fini (“Fini,” “we,” “us”) collects, why, and what you can do about it. We are responsible for the personal information described below.

1. What we collect

• Account information — the name, work email, organization name, and password (stored hashed) you provide when you sign up or invite members.
• Billing information — your subscription, seat count, and billing cadence. Card payments are handled by a third-party payment processor; we receive limited details (such as card brand and last four digits) but do not store your full card number.
• Content you enter — the time entries, projects, clients, and invoices you create in Fini.
• Usage and device data — basic logs such as IP address, browser type, and pages accessed, used to operate and secure the service.

2. How we use it

• To provide, maintain, and secure the service;
• To process payments and manage your subscription and seats;
• To respond to support requests and send service‑related messages (such as activation, billing, and security notices); and
• To understand and improve how Fini is used, and to comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We use it only for the purposes described here or with your consent.

3. Who we share it with

We share personal data only with service providers that help us run Fini, under contracts that require them to protect it. These include:

• our payment processor — billing and card payments;
• our hosting and infrastructure providers; and
• our transactional email provider.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of Fini and its users. If Fini is involved in a merger or acquisition, we will give notice before personal data is transferred and becomes subject to a different policy.

4. Payments

Payments are processed by a third-party payment processor, and your card details are handled directly by that processor under its own privacy terms. We key our billing to the processor’s customer identifier rather than storing card data ourselves.

5. Cookies and Do Not Track

Fini uses only the cookies needed to sign you in and keep the service secure. We do not use third‑party advertising cookies, and we do not track you across other websites or over time. Because we do not track you across third‑party sites, we do not respond differently to a browser “Do Not Track” (DNT) signal.

6. Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. After cancellation we may delete it, except where we must retain certain records (for example billing records) to meet legal obligations. You can export your reports — time entries, projects, and invoices — from the app at any time before then.

7. Your rights

You can view and edit your account details, such as your name and email, directly in the app at any time. To correct or delete that information — or to ask any privacy question — contact us through the support options in the app. The personal information we hold is limited to your account and usage details, so we can handle any access, correction, or deletion request through that same channel.

8. Security

We protect your data with encryption in transit, hashed credentials, and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you of a breach affecting your personal data as required by law.

9. Where your data is stored

Fini is operated for customers in the United States, and we store personal data on servers located in the United States.

10. Children

Fini is a business tool and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age required by applicable law.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If a change is material, we will give reasonable notice before it takes effect.
