Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of Fini, the time‑tracking service provided by Fini (“we,” “us”). By creating an account or using the service, the organization you represent (“you”) agrees to these Terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind it.

1. The service

Fini is a hosted, per‑seat time‑tracking and reporting application for teams. We provide it on a subscription basis and may improve, change, or add to it over time. We will not make changes that materially reduce the core functionality of a paid subscription during its current term.

2. Accounts and eligibility

Fini is offered to businesses and organizations, not consumers. You are responsible for your account, for keeping credentials secure, and for all activity under seats you provision. You must provide accurate information and promptly update it if it changes. You are responsible for the conduct of the members you invite.

3. Subscriptions, seats, and billing

Fini is sold as a single plan — Prime — priced per seat. A “seat” is one member you allow to use the service. You choose a billing cadence at signup:

  • Monthly. Billed each month in advance. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid month.
  • Annual. Billed once in advance for a one‑year term at a lower per‑seat rate. The annual term is a commitment for that year.

Payment is due at signup — there is no free trial. Payments are processed by a third-party payment processor; we do not store your full card details. You authorize us (through that processor) to charge your payment method for the applicable fees, including on automatic renewal. Fees are stated exclusive of taxes, which you are responsible for where they apply.

Seats. You may add or remove seats at any time. Adding seats is charged on a prorated basis for the remainder of the current period; removing seats takes effect at the next renewal. Your organization cannot have more active members than paid seats.

Automatic renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically for another period of the same length at the then‑current rate unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can manage renewal, seats, and payment details in the billing portal.

4. 14-day money-back guarantee

Because there is no free trial, every new subscription is backed by a 14‑day money‑back guarantee. If Fini is not right for you, contact us within 14 days of your first payment and we will refund that payment in full. The guarantee applies once per organization, to the initial subscription payment.

5. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel at any time from the billing portal.

  • Monthly subscriptions stop renewing and keep working until the end of the current paid month; monthly fees already paid are not otherwise refundable.
  • Annual subscriptions run to the end of the committed term. Outside the 14‑day guarantee, annual fees are not refundable for the remainder of a term.

Nothing here limits any non‑waivable refund or cancellation rights you may have under applicable law.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to, and not to permit anyone to:

  • use the service in violation of any law or the rights of others;
  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or its systems, or probe, scan, or disrupt them;
  • reverse engineer, resell, or provide the service to third parties except your own authorized members; or
  • upload malware or use the service to store or transmit unlawful or infringing content.

7. Your data

The time entries, projects, clients, invoices, and other content you put into Fini are yours. You grant us only the limited rights needed to host and operate the service for you. You can export your time entries, projects, and invoices to CSV or PDF at any time, including on your way out. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Our intellectual property

The Fini service, software, and brand are owned by us and our licensors. We grant you a non‑exclusive, non‑transferable right to use the service during your subscription for your internal business purposes. If you send us feedback, we may use it without obligation to you.

9. Warranty disclaimer

We work hard to keep Fini available and reliable, but the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error‑free.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data. Our total liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

11. Term and termination

These Terms apply while you use Fini. You may stop using the service and cancel at any time as described above. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms or fail to pay, and we may discontinue the service with reasonable notice. On termination, you can export your reports (time entries, projects, and invoices) for a reasonable period, after which we may delete your data.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will give reasonable notice (for example by email or in the app) before it takes effect. Continuing to use Fini after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
